Loading the monitor settings ﬁle

The EFIRGB ICC monitor settings ﬁle can be used in Photoshop, or other

applications that support ICC proﬁles to deﬁne a source color space for printing to the

Fiery.

NOTE: For best results, the monitor settings ﬁle should be installed if you use

Fiery Scan.

TO LOAD THE MONITOR SETTINGS FILE IN PHOTOSHOP 5.0:

1. Launch Photoshop.

2. From the File menu, choose Color Settings, and from the Color Settings submenu,

choose RGB Setup.

3. In the RGB Setup dialog box, click Load.

4. Browse to the System folder: Preferences: ColorSync Proﬁles, select the EFIRGB v 1f

ﬁle, and click Open.

OTE: If you are using ColorSync 2.5 or later, ColorSync proﬁles are located in System

Folder:ColorSync Proﬁles.

The EFIRGB ICC v1f ﬁle appears as the selection in the RGB pop-up menu of the

RGB Setup dialog box.

5. Click OK.
